reasons to love a shy girl
i. men fear strong women,
but she's far from strong.
this wisp of a girl
doesn't even need a hurricane
to fall apart.
she'd glued and re-glued,
old bonds wearing thin,
but if you ask politely,
she'll let you touch her scars.
ii. her lips are fettered in rusted chains.
you'd need a crowbar to pry up
her whispered secrets.
you are not worthy to hear her voice
just as she is not worthy to give it to you.
she told me everything she knows,
and i shut it away,
kept it safe.
i tied the threads into double knots
just to make sure
they wouldn't curl away from me,
twisted up like a dead spider's legs.
iii. she is hewn from shadow,

I'll Tell My Secrets To The Moon by CloudNumber8, literature

I'll Tell My Secrets To The Moon
So long as you furnish me with a window
And a steel frame bed in a corner of a room
I’ll endeavour to keep the pane transparent
To give my eyes a crystal clear view of the moon
Regardless of what phase you are going through
Whether it be half, crescent, full, blue or new
You have never once shown me your dark side
But so many times I have shown mine to you
But tranquillity can be seen on a clear night
Tides roll through my veins as thoughts flood to my pen
Of all the ancestors that have gone before me
Who've had the same moon looking down over them
So long as you furnish me with a window
And a steel frame bed in a corner of a room

A droplet of water lasted me a thousand ages
For I have traveled inside my mind
I documented a thousand faces
That ended up turning blind eyes
The lifeblood of faith kept urging me to wait
While I became a statue deprived of light and the life I once called mine
Numb sounds flow / Passions let go
Clinging onto footprints / A coward's instinct
Uncensored immunity is a curse
For tragedy teaches weakness
Nothing will be of any worth
As love and fear will be without consequences

I am self-destructive.
You are the affected.
I’m a thought that’s still in motion.
You’re an idea perfected.
I’m a sacrifice without you.
But with your life, I’m injected.
I’m a thousand puzzle pieces.
You’re the way to connect it.
The Chupacabra (Thylapotator hircoraptor) is a species of carnivorus marsupial indigenous to southern North Mondanova.
Physical description
The Chupacabra is a coyote-sized animal with leathery greyish skin, covered with a thin coating of hair. A row of spines runs down the lower back. The head is dog-like, with pointed ears, and a narrow snout. The mouth can open very wide, and is armed with sharp canines that protrude past the lower lip when the animals mouth is closed. Powerful back legs, and a long, stiff tail allow the Chupacabra to stand, and even hop bipedally in a similar manner to the kangaroos of Oz.
Behaviour
The Chupacabra is a

Alligator Sky- By Owl City
Where was I when the rockets came to life
And carried you away into the alligator sky?
Even though I'll never know what's up ahead
I'm never letting go
I'm never letting go.
Remember to breathe 'cause it'll take your breath away
When the engines cough and you'll blast off
Ignite the sky with a fire cracker flash
Remember to live 'cause you're gonna be thrilled to death
When the stars collide and your eyes grow wide
Take it in with your breath against the glass
Remember to dream 'cause it's gonna be a starry night
Over every town as you look down
So harmonize with the singing satellites
And remember to scream 'cause you're gonna be lost for w
I’ve been sitting on your doorstep for three days.
Here are the nothings I left under the mat:
i.I do not feel like a lion anymore,
an alpha wolf, a hyena or
any other strong-willed beast.
ii. Today,
I want to take my scars
out to lunch,
feed them your eyes,
& your tongue
until it bleeds sorrow,
and “please forgive me’s”.
iii. You wish I never existed
as you grind those words
into my wrists like they are
red hibiscus blossoms.
& I’ll have you know
I am a flower, bloomed,
rooted deep into the soil.
You are just a combination

The Sun and the Rain (poem)
Rainbows
The sun was a pretty girl;
Dressed in ribbons and bows.
Each day she brightened up the earth
With her crimson orange glow.
The rain was cold and bitter;
Friends with the sleet and snow.
His heart hung heavy with misery,
His songs were full of woe.
One day they collided.
The sun said “Don’t you know?
The grey and cloudy tears will soon disappear;
I think you’re great just so.”
So up in the sky together
They let their love flow.
It leapt from their hearts, across the world
And became a rainbow.
